Recognizing outstanding CIOs isn’t just about the what—it's about the who. The human stories behind the titles. The heart behind the strategy. The laughter behind the leadership. Last night, more than 120 members of the Boston CIO community gathered to celebrate the Most Interesting CIOs in the World—our 2025 Boston #ORBIE Award Finalists! The stories? Hilarious. Heartfelt. Sometimes unexpected. Always inspiring. These leaders reminded us that some of the most important moments happen outside the boardroom (and often involve a great story or two). Each gathering during awards season is more than an event—it’s a chance to deepen connection, spotlight team excellence, and build momentum across our organizations and the broader tech community. As we look ahead to the big day on June 6 for the 11th annual BostonCIO ORBIE Awards, we’re not just counting down to a ceremony, we’re celebrating a more than a decade of leadership, innovation, and impact across Greater New England. Huge thanks to our amazing underwriters and Awards sponsors for making this magic possible: Slalom, Markley, EchoStor Technologies, and BGSF #BostonCIO #CIO #ORBIE #ITLeadership #LeadershipMatters
