Fun breakfast with Yann LeCun. We chatted about open science and open source (grateful for his tireless advocacy of these for decades), JEPA and where AI research and models might go next!.
Should have recorded it...would have been a hit-podcast :)))
The combined intelligence of these two brains doesn’t exist in any AI model. Instead of scaling up parameters trying to find AGI, just biological copying these brains would be more energy-efficient — and probably more realistic :).
Where did you go for breakfast?
Definitely should start recording you casual conversations as well. Gold for the community.
I will pay to sit at a corner or pretend to water that inverted plant like thingy to listen to this conversation.
For founders, insights from AI pioneers like Yann LeCun highlight the value of open science and agentic approaches in shaping next-gen AI systems. Learn how to apply these principles to real-world workflows at The Agentic Learning (https://www.theagenticlearning.com/).
I wish there was a podcast of this discussion! I’d love to know what the thoughts are on where AI goes from here.

btw, special kudos for making education in this area more accessible (speaking of https://www.deeplearning.ai ) !
