Why did the data scientist break up with the data engineer? Because they kept arguing over “structured” vs. “unstructured” relationships! 😆 Happy Friday! If you're a Data Scientist, Data Engineer, or LLM Engineer in the job market, I know how tough the search can be right now. Having talked to many candidates recently, I wanted to share a couple of quick tips to help you stand out: 1. Resume tip - Make your impact QUANTIFIABLE. Instead of saying, “Built ML models for fraud detection,” say “Developed an ML-based fraud detection system that reduced false positives by 30% and saved $500K annually.” Hiring managers love seeing real-world results! 2. Interview tip - Think out loud! When solving a problem, don’t just jump to the answer - walk the interviewer through your thought process. Show how you break down complex problems, weigh trade-offs, and optimize solutions. This is especially important for system design and algorithm-heavy roles. Here is a great Resource for Technical Prep: Check out LeetCode for coding challenges or Data Science Stack Exchange for real-world discussions on ML, stats, and analytics.
