Introducing Bounce Wellbeing – Empowering young minds in the heart of Karratha 🧡 🧠 In one of Australia’s most remote regions, where young people face unique challenges to their wellbeing, the need for tailored mental health support has never been more important. That’s why we’ve joined forces with Telethon7 and Rio Tinto to launch Bounce Wellbeing — a dedicated initiative tailored for children aged 8 to 13, designed to address the individualised wellbeing concerns of young people in Karratha. This first-of-a-kind program will focus on early intervention, family-oriented support and culturally safe practices. Bounce Wellbeing is set to expand to Tom Price in 2026. This is another exciting step forward as we continue building a brighter, more resilient future for the next generation.
This week we celebrated the Bounce Wellbeing opening, a partnership between Anglicare WA, Telethon and Rio Tinto working together to strengthen mental health and wellbeing across the Pilbara. This initiative will deliver vital, locally tailored support for children, young people and families, helping to build resilience and connection in one of Australia’s most remote regions. With Anglicare WA’s expertise, Telethon’s mission to create brighter futures for all children and Rio Tinto’s commitment, this collaboration is set to make a lasting impact where it’s needed most.
