𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗔𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁? Take our AI-powered Voice Assistant, designed to help visually impaired users book rides. Initially, its accuracy in picking up the right instructions was only 46%. After training with over 80,000 local voice samples, we’ve hit a decent 89% accuracy! AI now better understands us 😉 This is the kind of #𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗔𝗜 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 Grab's 𝗔𝗜 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗖𝗢𝗘), which we opened this week in partnership with Digital Industry Singapore (DISG). We’re building #AIforSoutheastAsia – and it means investing in talent here. We’ll be creating at least 𝟱𝟬 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁, 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀. At our COE, we will focus on using AI to solve everyday challenges in Southeast Asia. New route suggestions based on real-time flood alerts. Easy-to-generate insight reports to help small businesses grow (no tech-savvy needed). Hi Anthony Tan, I had a quick idea that might add value to Grab’s food delivery service: What if cancelled food orders were offered at a discount to nearby users instead of going to waste? It could help restaurants recover costs, reduce food waste, and give users surprise deals. 3dJustgrab prices are too low to drivers n causing them to overwork thus causing fatigue and in the long run might backfire as drivers might find it not worth and find other jobs so please be fair to drivers n don’t give low fares to them , a fixed fare by distance n time like taxi is more efficient on the long run thanks .
