Longtime ANZ customer, Benton's Plumbing Supplies were involved in a near miss with scammers using live chat technology to impersonate a genuine business contact. Alerted by ANZ Falcon technology, they were able to put a stop to the conversation before any financial loss occurred. While this was a close call, these types of scams are becoming increasingly common with Australian businesses losing a total of $84 million to Business Email Compromise scams in 2024 alone. So, what is going on and what can we do about it? Cosi deep dives at ANZ bluenotes: https://lnkd.in/gnWTySdx #CyberSecurityAwarenessMonth
