While the rest of the banking world talks innovation in Frankfurt, ANZ’s main innovation seems to be discovering new ways to trim staff, delay transactions, and lose customer trust with breathtaking efficiency. At this point, the only “forward strategy” they’re leading in is making Centrelink look like a fintech startup.
