The training that Aspects Autism Friendly team have provided us has been second to none. We have learned so much about autism, interactions with autistic people and how we can make the stadium a more safe and inclusive experience for everyone that visits. Working with Aspect has truly been a collaboration from the start, joining Disney's theatrical industry leadership combined with Aspects understanding of the needs of autistic people. Means that we can make the changes required to ensure that the show is a magical experience for everyone. The training that we've done with Aspect has changed a lot of things for USA. The impact has been immense. Students completing Aspects autism friendly training. Everyone is much more aware and thinking differently and more creatively about what we need for the stadium. And it's really good that accessibility, particularly things around hidden disabilities, the hidden curriculum are at the forefront when we're planning and things and we're no longer retrofitting. The Aspect team helped us positively role model to theatergoers and the industry the changes in the behaviours we're looking to instill. To create a sense of belonging. We didn't realise how many neurodivergent folks with autism that we actually had participating and I think that those people now feel seen. The training has considered everything and just made us so much more aware of everything that happens here and the effect that it has on our customers. Aspects Autism Friendly Team helped U.S. Open our first sensory friendly space at the MCG. We had parents coming up to us to say thank you so much for including something like this in the stadium. It's the first time that my son, my daughter, has actually been able to come to an event and you have changed our life. One of the first projects that we took on with Aspect was to set up our quiet space or quiet room. What we found was it was used so much and then to have people come up and thank us for having that. White space, it was amazing. Everything I know about autism, I can credit to aspects, the knowledge that they impart to you and the confidence that they give you to. I just feel like I can make decisions now because I've had that training and I've got that foundation knowledge from them. And then when I don't know something, they're always a phone call away. You just don't know who's in your team that might have a hidden disability. Be autistic. And needs that extra help. Lots of people will mask and you won't know. And so taking on the practices that aspect have will change that person's life. And if you can change one person's life in your team, what does it matter to you? It just makes it better.
