AstraZeneca’s Post

This week we joined industry peers at the Gartner Supply Chain Symposium in Barcelona, where our very own Ulrika Henningsson ♦️, Head of Manufacturing Technology Strategy, shared our ambition to transform patient value through continuous manufacturing – one of the many ways we’re leveraging AI and digital technologies to deliver medicines to patients around the world with speed, quality, and precision. #GartnerSC

At first glance, it might seem like these institutions care about human lives. But I’m living proof they don’t. I developed severe encephalitis just days after receiving the second dose of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine during the clinical trial here in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Since then, I’ve been completely ignored by AstraZeneca, Hospital São Rafael, University of Oxford, Instituto D'Or de Pesquisa e Ensino, and Rede D'Or São Luiz. It's been 5 years. No answers. No support. No accountability. This is how they treat someone who entrusted their life to science — like a number, like something disposable.
