Last week, we hosted the 7th Climate Technology Program – a unique forum designed to spark bold, cross-sector dialogue, and uncover solutions to the world’s most pressing climate challenges. Held at our Center for Technology Innovation in Houston, TX, we welcomed leaders from energy, tech, finance, academia, and policy for two days of insightful discussion and debate, exploring the critical role of cleaner technologies in shaping the U.S. energy landscape. We covered topics ranging from decarbonizing power infrastructure and managing AI-driven energy demand to financing innovation and scaling integrated power solutions. We also debated how to meet rising power demand sustainably and build the talent pipeline for the future. Highlights included insights from Rice University's Baker Institute for Public Policy, Controlled Thermal Resources Holdings, Inc., Edged, Net Power, Fervo Energy, Constellation, and more. 🔑 Key takeaway: Meeting growing demand while balancing sustainability and reliability is complex—it demands collaboration and diverse perspectives. Thank you to our partners and participants for contributing your time, experience, and ideas. Together, we’re driving #ProgressAtScale and shaping a more sustainable energy future. #EnergyTransition #InnovationInAction #ClimateTechnologyProgram #SustainableEnergyDevelopment #WeAreBakerHughes
