Ballina Shire Council’s Post

Celebrating the upgraded Lennox Village Council is excited to announce that the upgrade of the Lennox Head village is officially complete! The new carpark, now open on the corner of Park and Mackney Lane, marked the final stage of the major project. To celebrate this significant rejuvenation project, we invited Justine Elliot MP, Tamara Smith MP, Mayor Sharon Cadwallader, Councillors and key project partners down to experience the upgraded village. This major project has transformed the heart of Lennox Head while preserving its coastal village charm. Thank you to everyone who participated in the project’s design and provided feedback during the consultation process – your ideas are now a reality. Key highlights: • Upgraded Ballina Street with new pedestrian crossings and shared zones • Revamped Ross Park with a wheelchair-accessible carousel and nature playground • Renovated Lennox Park with new bus stops and amenities • Indigenous language elements celebrating local culture • New public car park for better access to businesses and attractions We would also like to thank local residents and businesses for their patience and support while these works were completed. Go and explore the fresh new look of Lennox! #LennoxVillageVision #LennoxHead #BallinaShire #CommunityTransformation #ExploreLennox #LoveLennox

Awsome! To save money for council and school playground upgrades, we are offering up to 35% discount for Aus-made flat-packed wheelchair accessible trampolines this year. This brings inclusion to every playground.
