Reforge Acquires Prefab to Complete Its Product Suite

It’s been a long while since I shared an update about Infurnia. Design & production/construction tech for the architecture and interior industry is unlike other SaaS categories. Products take years to become usable, and in between, most startups (us included) struggle to simply stay afloat. Success here requires patience, resilience, and strong client partnerships. Two years ago, we hit struggling phase for the 3rd time in our journey and realised that the only way to survive — and eventually succeed — was to build a self-reliant, profitable business. That meant a hard pivot: moving away from sales-led growth to retention-led growth. Because the easy part today is acquiring clients — shout on social media, get influencer backing, or run low-cost ads. The 10x harder part is ensuring clients succeed with your product and renew with you. Our journey since then: -> 1-month NRR has reached 99%, while 3-month NRR is trailing at 90% (we aim to hit 100% by year-end). -> ARR stands at ₹8.14 Cr, growing at ₹20-30 lakhs per month. -> We will break-even at ₹9 Cr ARR run rate by year-end, and from there, add one member to the team every month while remaining profitable. We believe this is the most sustainable way to crack a large and complex space like design & make tech for the building industry. From $1M to $6M ARR in 18 months. Here are my biggest lessons from the ride(and the brutal truth!) When I joined ColdIQ, we had 15 people and $1M ARR. Now we’re 35+ and just cleared $6M ARR. Wild, but here’s what actually moves the needle in a high-velocity GTM startup: → Hire fast. Fire fast. You know who fits the pace in weeks, not months. The AI GTM space is a rocket ship-if you can’t keep up, the team feels it quick. This is harsh, but it's the reality. → Intentional focus beats busywork. Slack, pings, tasks, noise. I learned to shut out the chaos and focus on ONE thing at a time. That’s how you 5x output. Not by juggling, but by finishing! → Done > perfect. You can overthink every campaign, every workflow, every line of copy. In a market like this, 80% shipped now wins over 100% never shipped. You can always iterate. → Learn fast or get left behind. The pace is brutal-new tools, new signals, new rules every month. The real A-players? They own their learning curve. No one’s waiting for you to catch up. → Teach as you go. If the team levels up, you win by default. Hold the door open for others, share playbooks, and be patient. The best teams grow together. The truth: most don’t make it. When I first started building Markoste, I fell into that trap obsessing over numbers that look smart on a pitch deck.
