Today we had a special session with Parson Tang of JP Morgan on raising funding for biotech from family offices. Parson, who works with some of the world's wealthiest individuals, made it clear that this is not easy -- connecting in the first place being a major challenge. However, if you can build a genuine relationship with a family office who shares your mission, they approach investing differently from VCs; they are motivated by values, and may not expect immediate returns. And connecting with one office may open doors to others. We organize meetups like this on Zoom and in person for companies in the QB3 mentoring program. Interested?
