Believe the French Music Distributor has finally launched their Music Publishing Division led by Chris Meehan. This move expands upon Believe's success in the distribution side of the industry. I think that this is really interesting, as a distribution company, Believe is launching a publishing services sector of their company— expanding their reach and incentive for artists to work with them. I believe this move was really smart on their part, as artists who use them to distribute now have to the ability to upstream into Believe's distribution services or publishing sector. For these services to be available is for there to be growth in the distribution side of the industry, and how that will only get bigger in years to come. Think your production music royalties should be higher? You’re probably right. We’ve seen publishers double or even triple their annual collections just by optimizing their admin approach. Most publishing systems weren’t designed with production music in mind, so gaps, delays, and missed income are more common than they should be. At SourceAudio Collect, we’ve built a system that actually fits how production music is used: ✔️ No double entry ✔️ Fewer registration errors ✔️ Faster payouts ✔️ All backed by real expertise and real results 👉 Here are 3 ways SourceAudio Collect helps maximize your earnings 👇

Unison’s CEO Jordi Puy will be back this year participating in a panel discussion at the Music Ally Music Publishing Summit on the 13th of October. The panel “Competition and Innovation in the CMOs Sector”, is chaired by Jane Dyball, founder of Laffittes Ltd, and includes Jordi alongside Nicholas Lehman, EVP & Chief Strategy & Digital Officer at ASCAP, and Paul Clements, CEO of the Music Publishers Association (UK). Over the past forty years, the music industry has transformed from physical to digital, yet many of the systems supporting it have had difficulties to adapt. Competition in the CMO space is now incentivising innovation at a faster pace. In this context, Unison was created to offer a rights management alternative for the independent publishers and composers community, applying technology to make rights management more efficient and collect more, faster and with transparency. The Music Ally Music Publishing Summit, 13-14 October, is an annual event held at Kings Palace in London, and focuses on the modern-day music publishing business. If you are in London or at the Music Ally Music Publishing Summit, come and say hello!
