An evening where culinary craft met the spirit of the game. To mark the return of the 2025 Credit One Charleston Open, we were proud to help bring Taste of Tennis to Charleston for the very first time—hosting a collaborative, chef-driven event at The Charleston Place that felt every bit like us: welcoming, intentional, and rooted in shared experience. Set in Market Street Circle, the night brought together chefs Nick Dugan (Sorelle), Gabriel Haaz del Campo (The Charleston Place), and Suzy Castelloe (Charleston Grill) with WTA standouts Madison Keys, Emma Navarro, Shelby Rogers, and Ali Riske-Amritraj. Each pairing took the stage for live culinary demos, blending skill and spontaneity in a way that mirrored the energy of the tournament itself. Guests sipped signature cocktails, swapped stories, and gathered around plates designed to showcase creativity and connection. And just when the night seemed to wind down, a surprise pickleball match lit up the court—closing the evening on a playful note. While Taste of Tennis has long made stops in New York, Miami, and Indian Wells, its Charleston debut carried a distinct tone—shaped by our city, our chefs, and the team across BHC who brought it to life.
