For many people, mastering one career is hard enough. But Macy is currently pursuing two – one as an elite netballer, and another as a Human Resources professional at BHP. “I was drawn to mining after meeting some fantastic people at BHP who made me realise how meaningful and impactful a career in this industry could be. My part time role offers the flexibility to integrate work around my training and playing commitments. It’s incredibly rewarding that I don’t have to wait until my netball career ends to begin building my professional pathway.” #sports #careers #mining

What an inspiring story, Macy! Love seeing people chase both their passions and careers with balance and purpose-- great to see BHP supporting that kind of flexibility and growth.

Love this story. It’s great to see workplaces supporting flexibility so people can pursue their goals both on and off the field.

As someone who dabbles in professional sport as a photographer, especially netball. I would like to see more businesses take this approach to growing professional sports. It shows great commitment to people and their passion whilst helping build the community from roots to big leagues.
