Ntara and Inriver bring you the CIO’s Guide to PXM in Industrial Manufacturing. I have the pleasure of working with SAP sellers around the globe, and for those in Industrial Manufacturing, this paper is essential to understand PXM and how best to help CIOs meet the challenge. Let's peek inside... 👉 Product experience management (PXM) is emerging as a critical enabler of operational excellence. For CIOs tasked with solving data mismanagement and process inefficiencies, PXM offers a pragmatic, integration-ready approach to unify product information, streamline syndication, and reduce IT burden — all without disrupting core systems like ERP or PLM. 👉 Real World Use Cases: PXM in action 1. Centralizing product data across disconnected systems 2. Automating syndication to internal and external channels 3. Enabling compliance through structured data governance 4. Reducing IT burden through self-service 👉 The value of any new technology hinges on its ability to integrate, not disrupt. · Seamless connections to core systems · Built for composability and control · Governance without bottlenecks 👉 ROI and business case · Quantifiable benefits of PXM · Building the business case 👉 Next steps: From insight to implementation 1. Identify the problem you’re solving 2. Build the business case 3. Evaluate vendors with a technical lens 4. Choose a systems integration partner that understands industrial complexity 5. Pilot with purpose 👉 Scale into the future: Plan for what comes next 1. Design the pilot with expansion in mind 2. Critical MVP requirements: 3. Commit to iteration 💡 Conclusion By taking a deliberate, technically grounded approach, CIOs can transform fragmented product data and digital assets into a unified, governed ecosystem that drives efficiency, compliance, and agility throughout the enterprise. For CIOs of industrial manufacturing companies, PXM offers a clear path forward. It delivers measurable value today and builds a foundation for scalable digital transformation tomorrow.

Modernization isn’t optional anymore — it’s survival. The question isn’t if the shift happens, but who leads it. The industry stands at a crossroads between modernization and obsolescence. Too many dealers remain tethered to legacy ERP and device-management platforms built for a pre-cloud era. The winners will be those who reimagine workflows around data accessibility, automation, and integration — not those clinging to legacy lock-in models. #MPS #ManagedPrintServices #DigitalTransformation #DealerFirst #PrintIndustry #Innovation #CloudTechnology #Automation #DataDriven #Leadership

Still Relying on Traditional Automation? You Might Be Falling Behind. The industrial landscape is shifting fast, and automation alone won’t keep up. In this thought-provoking piece from diginomica, Somya Kapoor, CEO of IFS Loops, explores how agentic digital workers are stepping in to fill the gaps, by making decisions, adapting to change, and collaborating with ERP systems to drive real outcomes. If you're in manufacturing, energy, or any asset-heavy industry, this is a must-read. 🔗See the article here - https://ifs.link/ImFPuh #IndustrialAI #IFSLoops

90 percent accuracy is not an accident. It came from better slotting, cleaner replenishment, and ERP improvements that made tracking simple instead of painful. Accuracy is the result of process clarity. Technology helps, but only when it supports the flow. Chasing accuracy is really about building confidence, for your team, for leadership, and most of all for the customer. 🚀 Digital Maturity ≠ Owning Software Licenses. Too many companies believe they’re “digital” because they have a PLM, ERP, or MES in place. But true digital maturity isn’t about what tools you bought — it’s about how you connect them, govern them, and learn from them. 💡 In this new infographic, I break down how PLM maturity evolves: —from document chaos ➡️ to data continuity ➡️ to decision intelligence. It’s a simple truth: 🧠 Companies that treat PLM as a business strategy — not an IT project — are the ones that unlock faster innovation, fewer product failures, and better collaboration across the lifecycle. The rest? They’re still fighting with spreadsheets and PDFs while their competitors are building digital threads that actually think. 👉 Where does your organization sit on this maturity curve? #AIAcrossTheProductLifecycle #BetterCallFino #PLM #DigitalThread #EngineeringSoftwareStartups #DigitalTransformation #Industry40

After the past few weeks, I’m seeing a common theme capturing manufacturers' interest - connected portals that tie quoting, ordering, and fulfillment directly into ERP. Why? Because it isn’t about launching another website. It’s about closing the data gap between sales, operations, and customers - getting more visibility to valuable, real-time data. And this becomes even more of a need when there are acquisitions and mergers leading to a drive to better standardize. So here’s what I am seeing is driving the urgency at the core: 1. ERP-first integration: Operations teams are done with one-way syncs and data silos. Real-time connection to ERP is now table stakes. 2. Self-service efficiency: Customers, Distributors and Dealers want to quote, order, and reorder without waiting - and that speed reduces manual touches internally, too. 3. Accuracy at scale: When pricing, inventory, and lead times all pull live from ERP, errors and rework drop dramatically. 4. Distributor visibility: Shared portals mean your partners can see exactly what’s available, configure products correctly, and reduce order friction. 5. AI enablement: Intelligent search and quoting automation are turning portals into performance multipliers, not maintenance headaches. The "why now" boils down to this: Manufacturers can’t afford disconnected systems. Portals are becoming the operational layer between ERP and revenue, enabling teams to move faster, quote smarter, and deliver with precision. What’s been your biggest challenge (or win) when it comes to connecting your customer or distributor portals to ERP? *********************************************** Interested in checking out more?
