Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program’s Post

On this World Homeless Day, we hope you'll take a moment to imagine being in the shoes of our patients and consider how being unhoused might impact your everyday life – the struggle to find safe shelter, hot meals, a place to shower and use bathrooms, and so on. Each day, our patients bravely face these challenging circumstances, and with the help of others, including their unhoused peers, they take the steps needed to transform their lives. At BHCHP, we feel honored to play a part in our patients’ life-changing journeys, and we’re fortunate to witness these transformations, big and small, every single day. We hope you realize the role you play as well in our critical mission: to assure or provide access to the highest quality health care for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Boston.
