This morning, Ibec’s Energy and Climate Policy Committee hosted Marie Donnelly, Chair of the Climate Change Advisory Council Ireland, for a constructive discussion on how Ireland can best meet its climate targets and overcome the barriers to decarbonisation. Key topics discussed included the opportunities in heat and transport electrification, biomethane, offshore and onshore renewables, district heating, waste as a resource, and carbon sequestration.
