Tunnels & Tunnelling International: Hamburg U5 Line, Skarvberg tunnel, Bekaert's approach

SEPTEMBER EDITION OF TUNNELS & TUNNELLING INTERNATIONAL   We are pleased to share below a pared-down version of the September 2025 edition of the official British Tunnelling Society publication - Tunnels and Tunnelling International.   The edition features a look at innovative sustainability strategy on the Hamburg U5 Line. The strategy includes measures across project management, planning and construction. Insight is shared via Frank Plöger, Klaus Uphoff and Roland Herr.   It also takes a look at hybrid design of rock support in hard and layered rock masses with a focus on the new Skarvberg road tunnel.
