🖇️ The Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank (FMO) and Credo Bank have announced the signing of a GEL 80 million Facility Agreement. The long-term local currency funding will support small and medium-sized businesses across Georgia, with the special focus on agriculture, as well as women and young entrepreneurs.

The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) sponsored by NatWest has been 25 years in the making. The latest report (measuring activity in 2024) shows that over one third of working-age adults are engaged in or planning to start a business, the highest level since this monitoring began. Last week, the Rwanda Institute of Cooperatives, Entrepreneurship and Microfinance (RICEM), in partnership with Entrepreneurial Solutions Partners (ESP), successfully delivered training sessions across 10 sectors in Nyanza and Gakenke Districts. The program equipped small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs with practical knowledge on investment readiness, fundamentals of accounting, and strategies for accessing markets, thereby strengthening their capacity to grow and sustain their enterprises.
