🌟 From grassroots to greatness 🌟
Andrew Porter, Pierre Schoeman, and Henry Pollock all remember the clubs, schools and coaches who set them on their path to the red jersey. Because Lions aren’t just made in the stadiums… they’re built in the communities where the love of the game begins.

I loved having that that dream and that goal in the back of my head because it it meant when I was going out and training, I was, I suppose, training with a purpose. Mesela aa ge olduuna sylediler. Mijn Brother worden verbindt eentje zoals that's 3, your dufence of the con joineday free yours allat you heat your whatever. And I, I was just relentless joining them, staring all Wesley down in there in, in Dublin there. That's where my love for the game started. But yeah, I've brought down when I was four years old. It would have been when I was younger probably. And just just in the garden, probably my brother and my dad's dad took me down to many of our club and then kind of, yeah, went, went from there, I guess. I think my biggest development was on a 19. Voor de coach cool, Paul Anthony. You was like you might have training this on and you you believe the sun is our friend. We did like 20 laps of bags across the pitch. Takes about few hours actually. Cursi filouzebolan riep Night in. Finding you start over. I had a coach in in school and he's like, he was, he was a very tough coach, but I suppose that's what I needed. I wasn't great in school, but it was it was something I always look forward to. At the end of the day, I look forward to. Going out and training and training hard as well. Yeah, it was always, I suppose, a great mentor. And throughout my whole school life. I kind of went to senior school and then kind of. Kicked on through there and then yeah just remember kind of taking it more seriously, kind of taking the training more seriously having one-on-one S&C's coming to the school and and train you up. The main ones would probably be the Academy coaches at Saints that kind of came into the school did did training with us. The SC Jason at Saints did did so much work with me kind of putting on weight still does now and then yeah. My Academy coach Will parking was was a massive help and he's now the under eighteens. Yeah it's nice to kind of catch up with them whenever I can. There's something out there. For everyone like him, I think some people can be kind of. Maybe a bit disheartened, just like they're not maybe as academically inclined as, as other people, but there is a, a fit out there for, for everyone. And if you have a dream, doesn't matter how big or small it is, just go after it and, and enjoy it at the end of the day. Like I loved having that, that dream and that goal in the back of my head because it, it meant when I was going out and training, I was, I suppose, training with a purpose. It's good to reflect back on that and to see where you've come from. You look back at that.
