From Moth Gardens to Urban Wild Spaces we had a fabulous walkaround Manchester yesterday with the lovely Gary from PLANT. We particularly loved leading design with biodiversity and the secret path to the composting area! It’s so important to see plants in real life with all their idiosyncrasies, not just on a planting plan, especially in urban settings with dry soil, shade from tall buildings, rain shadows and pesky wind tunnels. Plant Co-operative is a multi-award-winning not-for-profit urban gardening collective specialising in transforming and managing public spaces whilst providing the opportunity to bring the community together. This is done through gardening, improving social connection and mental health, and ultimately creating a city of gardeners. We're looking forward to volunteering! #CWStudio #UrbanNature #AlwaysLearning #ThisCityIsAGarden Jessica Peach Anna Syed Alice Murphy Lucy Marshall https://plantmcr.co.uk/
