Most robots don’t fail because they’re slow. They fail because they can’t adapt. Adaptive AMRs don’t wait for the next software update — they re-weight paths mid-shift, using real signals from congestion, dwell time, and picker feedback. The result? Fewer choke points. Smoother flow. Faster fulfillment. Learn how feedback-driven systems keep your operation steady — even during festive peaks. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/ekbUkM6q #WarehouseAutomation #AMR #Operations #SupplyChain #Fulfillment #WarehouseOptimization #ContinuousImprovement #CartePlus #CartesianKinetics

Before you buy the next “revolutionary” warehouse system, ask what’s really inside the box. Too often, it’s not next-gen technology — it’s next-level vendor lock-in. 🌐 The Verus Framework flips that model: open, modular, and transparent from day one. You own your automation. You control your roadmap. 🔑 Open logic. Open data. Open control. #warehouseautomation #automation #supplychain #logistics #warehousemanagement #robotics #warehousin #industry #innovation #materialhandling #technology To view or add a comment, sign in

Twenty years ago my job was: Keep 300 robots and 50 people building car bodies. On time. Near-zero defects. Here’s what made it work: When a robot crashed → the line stopped. Alarm. Everyone saw it. We fixed it immediately. When cycle time dropped by a second → alarm. Everyone knew. We fixed it immediately. That’s the secret: Visibility + Speed. Small businesses? A process breaks → nobody notices for weeks. Performance drops → nobody measures it. A bottleneck appears → “We’ll deal with it later.” The gap is: You can't fix what you can't see. And you can't wait weeks to fix what kills you today. --- What you can do in your small business today: 1️⃣ Name the problem Pick ONE thing that's slowing you down. Write it in one sentence: "Orders are 3 days late" or "Sales calls don't get followed up." 2️⃣ Measure it Track ONE number for 7 days. How many times does it happen? How long does it take? How much does it cost you? Use a spreadsheet. Takes 2 minutes daily. 3️⃣ Find the real cause Ask "Why?" five times. Example: Orders are late → Why? → Supplier is slow → Why? → We order too late → Why? → Nobody owns the reorder process. Now you have the root cause. 4️⃣ Fix it once Don't patch it. Fix the system. Assign someone. Automate it. Build a checklist. Test it for one week and measure again. 5️⃣ Make it stick Write down what you fixed and how. Check the number weekly. If it breaks again, you'll see it immediately. I stripped out the acronyms and paperwork from automotive DMAIC. This works for solo founders to teams of 50+. --- Back then, I synchronized robots and people in a car factory. Today, I help small businesses synchronize AI and people to eliminate bottlenecks. Different tools. Same principle. You can't automate chaos. Build the system first. Then let AI make it faster. The difference? For a car factory, this cost millions. For a small business? Almost free - if you know where to start. 💬 What's the ONE problem you'll fix this week using this process? #BottleneckBuster #ProcessOptimization #SystemsThinking #SmallBusiness To view or add a comment, sign in

The hardest part of AMR deployment I've observed isn't the robot, it’s everything around it... Its "World"... Part presentation Doors Vises Floor conditions Communications Its easy to underestimate what it takes to synchronize AMRs with machines, production centers, cobots, conveyors, and shift schedules. Every piece needs to coordinate together. Without that, you get idle robots, stalled production, and the worst...opportunity cost and missed ROI It seems many teams cobble together integrations using middleware, scripts, or manual overrides that work...until it doesn't. Debugging is slow. Changes require weeks of testing. Scaling becomes a nightmare. The root issue? A lack of orchestration logic that can monitor machine states and assign AMR tasks asynchronously, in real time. Solving the issue means thinking beyond point-to-point interfaces At Process Robotics, we call this the orchestration gap We’ve built MX Interface to close it! It turns all your robots and machines into 1 team that runs without humans (if you want it to) Curious how it could work for your facility? Cobots just passed 500k units—up 30% YoY—cutting assembly defects 40% while boosting output 25%. The twist: they learn from humans, not replace them. Lesson: invest in up-skilling first, robots second; the future belongs to teams that blend steel-collar precision with human creativity. #Industry5 #Automation To view or add a comment, sign in

🔧 Being an engineer means simplifying complexity for others Not designing to show how complicated a system can be — but to make sure that those who use it don’t even have to think about it. We are engineers, but we love to tame complexity. That’s how SmartPick was born. A robot capable of cutting, emptying, and handling industrial powder bags fully autonomously — yet what makes it special is not the technology itself, but the simplicity with which it serves people. Behind every movement lies logic, safety, artificial vision, and full traceability. But to the operator’s eyes, there’s only a machine that “just does its job” — quietly, cleanly, flawlessly. To me, that’s what being an engineer truly means: not to complicate things, but to make them possible. SmartPick is not just a bag de-palletizer. It’s proof that real innovation begins when technology disappears — and only the result remains. 👉 #SmartPick #Automation #Engineering #Innovation #Robotics #PowderHandling #IndustrialDesign Thanks to Nicoletta Ghironi To view or add a comment, sign in
