🌟 We left everything to chase a different kind of future. 🌟 Hi everyone! After quitting our jobs and leaving our home back in July 2024 for a 10-month family adventure across the Americas, my husband and I made another bold move: we relocated to Sweden 🇸🇪 . Not to a big city like Stockholm or Gothenburg, but to where destiny took us: beautiful Värmland 🌲 To discover a new lifestyle and culture. To embrace nature in our daily life. To build a new kind of future for our kids. To keep showing them that anything is possible if you know your “why,” if you work hard, and yes, if you accept a few sacrifices along the way. Some say we’re crazy. Others say we’re courageous. Maybe we’re a bit of both. Why “crazy”? Because I arrived in Sweden without having secured a job. And yes, I’ve been applying, thoughtfully, to roles where I truly saw a fit and where I could bring real value. But a résumé is just… a résumé. Until you meet the person behind it, they’re only words on a beautiful Canva template.(💡 Oh! Maybe I should add Canva to my skill set!) The truth is, after this incredible journey, I’m ready to get back in the game. I miss that sense of belonging. I miss the feeling that my skills, energy, and mindset make a difference and contribute to something meaningful. I want to keep learning, growing, and meeting inspiring colleagues who share that same drive. This is actually my first personal post ever on LinkedIn. So here I am, testing the power of this network.
