Over the past few weeks I've heard a common refrain from people launching AI apps. * To make a AI project successful, you need stakeholder engagement and clear definitions of what functionality you want and don't want. * Metrics and evaluation -- including security, fairness, and accuracy -- are crucial. Build a stable foundation of responsible AI processes and team engagement. Choose good metrics and monitoring practices. AI apps can be launched in a few lines of code. Don't underestimate the processes and protections needed to do it safely and responsibly.

Las week, I shared my thoughts on why mobile apps won't exist in 10 years. Today, that vision takes a concrete step forward as we submit our patent for communicating and interacting with AI-agents via natural communication for facilities maintenance services. This journey started with a simple observation: watching operations teams and service providers struggle with the daily chaos of maintenance requests. Text messages. Urgent voicemails getting lost. Critical details scattered across email threads. Each interaction forcing humans to adapt to technology, rather than technology adapting to us. This time around we can't just build another software solution. Digital display interfaces still have their place in a product but we fundamentally have to rethinking how humans and technology should interact in the workplace. Just as we naturally pick up the phone or send a quick text, why shouldn't managing facilities maintenance be just as intuitive? Our patent submission represents more than technical innovation. It embodies a deeper truth I've come to understand: the future of human-technology interaction isn't about forcing people into artificial interfaces. It's about meeting them in their natural flow of communication - through conversations, messages, and emails they're already comfortable with.
