Christina O'Connor’s Post

Last Friday, I had the opportunity to attend the UK Hiring Taskforce at the Palace of Westminster — joining policy makers, technologists and industry leaders to explore how we can reimagine hiring in the UK. The key question: How do we make hiring faster, fairer, and safer — powered by technology and centred on people? Hosted by the brilliant Keith Rosser with inspiring keynotes from Lord Holmes, Viscount Camrose and Peter Cheese. What stood out: 💡 The opportunity to optimize UK hiring with AI ⚙️ How building candidate-driven experiences can reduce friction and get people hired faster 🧠 Automaton is key, but we must also invest in building inclusive, human-first cultures that help people thrive Grateful to be part of this important conversation at the intersection of hiring, innovation and inclusion. #FutureOfWork #AIinHiring #ResponsibleTech #CandidateExperience #HiringInnovation #TechForGood #WorkplaceTransformation #InclusionByDesign

And maybe there’s also room for some candidate coaching to help them build their confidence & minimise that “imposter syndrome” 💪
