𝘐𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘥? 👤 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗣𝗛 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗚𝗟𝗘𝗥: Apocalyptic mood – no. There are major challenges. Germany is under economic pressure, and Austria is feeling the effects of this too. But much of this is also home-grown. In our industry, personnel costs have risen by around 30 percent over the past four years, which naturally puts pressure on locations. Conversely, however, we as an industry also lack self-confidence. Europe has all the resources it needs for a successful future, for example the strongest internal market in the world and thus the potential for a high degree of sovereignty. Of course, it costs money to reduce energy dependence, build sustainable power plants, and expand grid networks. But these costs are also investments.
