Happy 1-year anniversary Conveo (YC S24)! 🎂 What a year it's been! From the kitchen table in Brussels to the kitchen table in San Francisco. After months of grinding, what started as a simple idea from running tons of interviews & surveys ourselves, is now our fully launched platform. Two things Dieter De Mesmaeker and I are most proud of: - Our incredible team: Bart Lens Niels Schillewaert Maarten Claes Rik Bauwens Florian Hendrickx 🔥 Alexandra de Hemptinne Rory Curran Vincent Vankrunkelsven (and 3 more joining soon!) - The love we get from our incredible customers It started by just shooting our shot; applying to Y Combinator. Rejected. 😕 But Pete Koomen encouraged us to keep going.  That was all we needed! We literally started at the kitchen table - Months of talking to potential users understanding their problems - Building a crappy MVP as fast as possible - Running our first study and being told “there’s absolutely nothing in here we didn’t already know” The first months were tough! But then the ball started rolling: - We applied again and got into Y Combinator and moved to San Francisco 🌁🇺🇸 Thanks Tom Blomfield for the rocket fuel! - Brought Bart Lens and Niels Schillewaert on board - Built a fully functioning v1 of Conveo (YC S24) and launched to customers - Partnered with our initial believers JDE Peet's, 1440 Foods, Unilever, Orange, Edgard & Cooper | B Corp and many others (forever grateful) - Got tons of customer love - Raised a big seed round (Entourage, 6 Degrees Capital, Syndicate One, Pioneer Fund, Pitchdrive | Early-stage VC 🚀) Thank you everyone who has been part of our journey. (You know who you are!) Especially Tim Baart, Nicolas Desmedt , and Ben De Smet! 1 lesson? Persistence compounds more than you’d think. Incredibly excited for what’s next this year and beyond. Onward!
