The EU’s new ‘Apply AI’ strategy marks a pivotal step in strengthening Europe’s technical sovereignty. By accelerating the development and adoption of European-built AI tools, the initiative aims to enhance security, resilience, and industrial competitiveness—with manufacturing identified as a key focus area. Backed by €1 billion in planned funding, it underscores AI’s growing role in driving innovation across the continent. At TDK Ventures, we’re already seeing this transformation through our portfolio companies redefining how #AI, #robotics, and #automation are shaping the future of manufacturing and supply chain operations. For example, our portfolio company ANYbotics is delivering robotic solutions that automate industrial inspections—improving uptime, reducing costs, and enhancing safety by keeping workers out of hazardous environments. This alignment between policy and innovation marks an exciting step forward, and we’re proud to help enable technologies that make industry smarter, safer, and more sustainable. 👉 Read more from Edith Hancock in The Wall Street Journal here: https://shorturl.at/k1v4p

This July, I was in Singapore and I was shocked to see the robots they are using and building for the future. I spent a day inside RoboNexus Pitch Day by SGInnovate, and it gave me a front-row view of how robotics is moving from labs to real-world impact. These 3 products stayed with me: - Healthcare (Articares): Compact rehab robots. They are meeting the demands of a rapidly ageing population as the world grows older and sicker. - Factories (Botsync): They are helping hospitals & semiconductor firms deploy autonomous delivery, traceability, secure workflows. Their “smart cabinet” case (with HoST) can meaningfully reduce friction. - AI tooling (Datature): It’s an end-to-end CV platform, enabling companies to collect data, train models, and test at a single place. Beyond the tech, the narrative is clear: Singapore isn’t chasing hype. They are building an ecosystem. From research to pilots and eventually products on which companies can be built. Looking ahead, the future feels optimistic. For instance, researchers from Sapient Intelligence in Singapore recently released the “Hierarchical Reasoning Model (HRM)” paper, which uses a brain-inspired architecture (high-level planning + low-level detailed computation) to solve complex reasoning tasks (like sudoku, maze solving, ARC-AGI) using only ~27M parameters and ~1,000 training samples. Paper: https://lnkd.in/gsH2a2sa If you’re in healthtech, logistics, embodied AI, or robotics control - worth keeping a very close eye on this ecosystem.

Skild AI's latest innovation is a GAME-CHANGER! Their "omni-bodied robot brain" can control robots even after losing limbs—yes, even when a robodog gets its legs chainsawed off. This isn't just sci-fi anymore. Imagine robots that adapt to ANY situation. It's happening now—over 100,000 different configurations have been tested. This tech could revolutionize industries, from logistics to healthcare, where efficiency could soar by up to 20% and recovery times could drop by 30%. But let's not overlook the challenges—ethical concerns about robot treatment and the fear of job displacement are REAL. With 70% of manufacturers jumping on board by 2025, there's no time to waste. We must prioritize reskilling initiatives to prepare our workforce for the future. As AI robotics marches forward, the dialogue on responsibility and ethics can't lag behind. The competitive landscape is dynamic—adaptation is crucial. Let's embrace this change with open eyes and strategic minds. https://lnkd.in/gQVtSSEg

It is with an immense pleasure that Opperator AI is becoming part of this incredible journey, which these two young Electrical Engineers are leading. We have entered the Robotics market as a shareholder and distributor of Haprow. In #GITEX Dubai, the biggest event of AI, Robotics, and Investors, there is not one project in Robotics that will reach as many corners in the world as the Haprow Robots will, because of its capabilities, low investment, and customer support. The customization of the Robot is nearly infinite! The way it looks is customizable, and perhaps you want to make it look like #messi or #CristianoRonaldo and upload the entire year's material for children of 10 years old to be able to do their homework with such an engagement robot. Creating an impact on millions of children to learn better mathematics, language, history (text + images), biology, or any other subject. We can increase the speaking capabilities in different countries to make the engagement enough for the elderly, to have someone to speak to, someone to remind them of their medicine, and be there for them periodically. It's affordable. It's capable. It's customizable. A win-win situation for companies to start having their first AI + Robotic experiences. Last, but not least, the culture of the company led by Muhammad Ali Abbas and Umer Noorani, the brightness of the young, talented gentlemen, and the winning spirit mentality; it's very similar to the culture leading Opperator AI, made it very clear for me to bet on them and become part of their company. Congrtulations Haprow and all the best to the team and the technology to achieve the goal of helping the lifes of millions by enhancing their lifes with such a nice robot.
