WOW! I’ve been nominated for a Northern PoWEr Women Awards, and while that feels out of my comfort zone to post, (I don't do attention well) this recognition really matters for Healthwatch right now. It’s about shining a light on the thousands of voices across Greater Manchester who shared their stories with us, and showing that those voices can shape real change when they’re brought together. At a key time for Healthwatch, this is less about me and more about awareness, reminding people what we do, why it matters, and encouraging more people and communities to speak up and be heard. So posting this feels humbling on a personal level. But I’m proud of what it represents, and grateful to every colleague and the GM community who makes this work possible.
