Bounded IN2021A, Vive Health is redefining the way mental Healthcare is delivered in Australia. With purpose built, state-of-the-art hospitals in Brisbane and the Mornington Peninsula and more on the way, Aviv offers modern restorative environments and highly specialized care to support people with mental health conditions. Out of Eve Health, we offer inpatient and outpatient mental health facilities and it was very clear from the onset that we needed to adapt and change the model of care and to do so we needed a digital platform that could support that. We had two hospitals that were going to open within one week of one another. We decided to partner with data capture experts because we knew that they would work with us to build a bespoke impatient. Electronic medical record and the DC-2 view platform for us has been a game changer from staff that are working in a paper based solution. DCE has really changed the way in which we engage with our patients and it enables us more time to spend at the bedside with the patient having those important touch points to ensure that the Aviv patients journey is a +1 and that the outcomes that we strive to deliver. Can be delivered in such a way that the staff feel engaged in the journey. In a mental health setting, things can change hours, hour, patients can escalate very quickly. They can decompensate very quickly. So with DC-2 view, we've obviously got all of the information for each patient on one platform. So our allied health team can be looking at a patient's progress notes or a plan for treatment, but so can our doctors and so can our nurses at the same time. As can I, our admin staff, our intake team, so that live access of information is phenomenal for AV health. Having a system that improves clinical efficiency means staff can spend more time with patients and less time chasing paperwork. As a sych nurse, it's really important to be able to observe all the patients on the ward all the time. We wanna spend as less time as possible on a screen and more time face to face with our clients. Which is the most. Important thing is connecting with the people that we're caring for. DC-2 view is a great way of making sure that you've got your care plan up to date as soon as you start the shift. It's very user friendly, it's a few clicks and you've got your care plan basically together all in one area. It's very time effective to be able to see the doctors notes, to see what leave patients are able to take and it just saves a lot of time for nursing staff, doctors and allied health to deliver the best care on the floor that we can. We use D CCTV for our data governance daily, so we provide our patients with a lot of outcome data. So on admission they complete a lot of surveys on their well-being and then we survey them on discharge. So then we can review our patients and the quality of their care, how they are feeling on discharge and report that externally to organisations for accreditation and our health funds for reimbursement. In the end, we can reflect now and think, wow, we've really built something really special, but it's also set us up for the future growth of a Veve. We've just announced Sale cloud clinic platform. We've got a lot of Aviva at home strategies that we're working on to deliver outpatient services from the home environment. It's very important for us at AV Health. As our business grows, that we partner with the company that can grow with us and adapt with us, and that's why ultimately we decided to go with data capture experts. Trusted but Undersupported: Primary Care’s Struggle with Mental Health
Jay Subramanian, CEO of Doctorite, sheds light on the growing pressure primary care providers face as the first line of defense in mental health. While patients deeply trust their doctors, these providers often lack the resources and support to meet rising behavioral health needs.
At the Healthcare Reinvention Collaborative event, he emphasized how empowering primary care with the right tools can bridge critical gaps in early intervention, accessibility, and ongoing care.
At Doctorite, we’re integrating AI-driven behavioral health solutions that strengthen the foundation of primary care—helping clinicians deliver holistic, compassionate, and timely support to every patient.
Because trusted care deserves the right support to heal minds and improve lives. 💙

To our network of Healthcare Leaders and Administrators:
This video outlines a critical operational challenge: Mental Health Access. Stigma and systemic complexity directly compromise patient outcomes and organizational efficiency.
We must move beyond awareness to action. Access-Salud specializes in providing the Telehealth and Care Coordination infrastructure that transforms this barrier into a streamlined pathway. By eliminating administrative friction, we ensure patients receive timely, dignified support.

Extended Reality in UK Healthcare: A National Network
Extended Reality (XR) technology is being deployed across the UK through a coordinated network of research centres, NHS trusts, and universities. This infrastructure is developing applications beyond surgical training, addressing pain management, rehabilitation, and mental health treatment.
Applications in Patient Care
Pain Management Medway Maritime and George Eliot NHS Trusts use Virtual Reality (VR) to reduce patient anxiety during image-guided injections and interventional radiology procedures. Clinical teams report stabilised vital signs and improved treatment precision when VR distraction is used alongside conventional approaches.
The Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, in collaboration with the University of Exeter, utilises Augmented Reality (AR) glasses to assess patients with Multiple Sclerosis remotely. This reduces the need for hospital visits whilst maintaining clinical standards for neurological monitoring.
Rehabilitation Universities across England are developing XR programmes for stroke and musculoskeletal recovery. These systems use motion tracking and immersive environments to support physical therapy, with early evidence suggesting improved patient engagement compared to traditional methods.
Training and Empathy King's College London and UCL are using VR for carer training, creating simulations that demonstrate the lived experience of conditions such as dementia and psychosis. These tools aim to improve understanding amongst healthcare professionals and family carers, bridging the gap between lived experience and clinical practice.
The National Network
Over 12 major institutions across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland are driving the development of XR healthcare. For instance, the RCS England XR Lab provides surgical scenario training, whilst the National Robotarium in Edinburgh integrates XR with robotics for rehabilitative care. Cardiff University focuses on VR-enhanced neurofeedback applications, and Ulster University develops virtual exposure therapy for mental health conditions.
This distributed network enables expertise to be shared across regions, with research findings being applied in NHS and private healthcare settings.
