In 1988, I was a computer science major at the University of Michigan. My thesis was "AI in Healthcare." At the time, nobody really paid attention to this topic. I went to med school at Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine University and trained at UCLA and Cedars-Sinai. Today, I am the Global Chief Medical Officer at Microsoft, and it seems like everyone wants to hear about #AI in #Healthcare. Please join me on Oct 13th, 2025, where I plan to share my "unexpected" career journey and the lessons learned along the way. 🗓 October 13 at 5:00 p.m. PT 💻 Free live webinar for high school students and early learners 🔗 Register now: https://bit.ly/4mC2Qsu Stanford University, Stanford University School of Medicine, Stanford Center for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Imaging (AIMI) #UnexpectedCareer
