Great to be back in person with the team at LinkedIn NYC! 🗽 As one of the few team members based outside the US, these offsites remind me why face-to-face connection still matters in our hybrid world. In the offsite, I had the privilege of facilitating a CliftonStrengths workshop for the team. Watching everyone discover and share their unique strengths was a highlight for me—it’s one thing to work together, but another to truly understand what makes each person feel energized and empowered. Three things I’m taking home: 1. Breaking down silos – We do great work individually, but there’s untapped potential when we better understand what each other is working on. Being able to learn from all the 101 sessions facilitated by our teammates is very useful. Special thanks to Katelyn Ruwe, Gregory McBroom, Jocelyn Lee , Sonja Renner, and others to help us learn about all things business and career. 2. Leveraging collective strengths – Our diversity isn’t just geographic. When we intentionally combine our different perspectives and talents, we solve problems in ways none of us could alone. 3. Continuous learning is key. The pace of change isn’t slowing down. Embedding AI into our workflows isn’t just about tools—it’s about staying curious and learning together. Kudos to Morgan Dickinson and Caio Lima for the amazing sessions on AI and learning. Already looking forward to the next one. Until then, back to my time zone. ⏰ P.S. Special thanks to our fun czar Jennifer Tan as well as to Jocelyn Lee and Martin Chow for the photos!
Love this energy! It’s soo true, connection takes on a whole new meaning when we move beyond screens and share space again
The workshop is something that we will reference for a long time! Thank you for leading this meaningful and interactive session and for sharing your passion with us. It was also great to see you 1-1 and I’m excited for us and our team!

3dGreat takeaways David Angdi! It’s powerful when a team moves from just working together to truly understanding what energizes each other. Aligning with our core strengths is foundational for well-being and preventing burnout. And able to apply this at a team level is brilliant. From your coaching perspective, how does this conscious use of strengths impact a team's collective resilience against stress?
