Thanks to Ashley Newport and INSAUGA Inc. for speaking with Zaynashae B., Dr. Humaira Mehboob MBBS, FCPS Ophth, PGY1 FM Resident and myself. The local impact that will be created in the City of Brampton, the Region of Peel and surrounding areas by the School of Medicine at Toronto Metropolitan University is an important aspect to highlight. Thanks to William Osler Health System for being such a strong primary clinical partner and for collaborating so closely with TMU. This article comes at a fun time for me professionally as I complete my time as Associate Vice President, Academics at William Osler Health System. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to be work with the #MedicalEducation team. Dr. Hemant Shah, Nelly Szreier (Javanrouh) and Jasmine Sheehan supported by their amazing team; Neera Kumar, Hemala Redoy, Nadia Sankar, Mala Tzouropoulos, Angela Parker and Peggy A. are primed to take the Medical Education Office to an amazing height. The team of Corporate Medical Education Leads and the Education leads from McMaster University are in great hands. I am really excited to see the William Osler Health System Learner Centres! Thanks to Dr. Frank Martino, MD, Dr. Greg Rutledge, Kiki Ferrari, Florine Lobo, and Deepak Sharma for their leadership and support. Special shout out to my fellow AVPs, Dr. Charissa Cordon, RN, MN, EdD, CHE, Saleem Chattergoon, rose crowther, Scott Horn, Mary Jane McNally and Sharon MacSween. Also enormous thanks for the Osler Communications team of Emma Johnston, Martha Murray and Jim Schembri. I am sure I missed many people but just a giant thanks to those that I have interacted with in this role and look forward to future collaboration.
