This new facility expands advanced AI-powered, low-latency digital infrastructure to support local schools and community organizations. Microsoft has introduced a new microfluidics cooling system to reduce power use in AI data centers. This system involves liquid flowing through channels etched inside the silicon, cooling chips more effectively than current methods. The technology, still in prototype stages, could make data centers more efficient and environmentally friendly. Microsoft collaborated with Swiss startup Corintis to develop this system, which has shown promising results in tests.
