Showcasing Conversation Mastery at the UN-ITCILO Campus in Turin We were honored to be invited by the International Training Centre of the ILO (ITCILO), a specialized agency of the United Nations, to take part in the Skills for Fair Digital Transitions in Africa event held on 7–8 October 2025 at the UN Campus in Turin. Our gratitude to Ms. Paridhi Pathak, Associate Programme Officer of the CATALYST Initiative, Office of the Director of Training (TRAINDIR), for the kind invitation and coordination. As part of the Tech & Networking Fair, we presented Conversation Mastery, an AI-powered, multilingual learning solution developed by our e-REAL Labs. It helps professionals strengthen key communication abilities including conflict de-escalation, sales interactions, negotiation and leadership through realistic dialogue with intelligent avatars. In the context of Africa’s dynamic and youthful workforce, developing effective communication and interpersonal skills is key to capacity building, employability, and inclusive digital transformation. Conversation Mastery is designed precisely for that purpose: to make learning human-centred, experiential, and impactful. Like the event itself, which brought together participants speaking English, French, Portuguese, and Italian, Conversation Mastery embraces linguistic and cultural diversity. It is also being developed in multiple African languages, such as Swahili, Somali, and Amharic to make practice accessible to diverse users across regions. The platform provides personalized feedback with nuanced, context-aware suggestions, enabling learners to rehearse challenging conversations and refine their approach before facing similar situations in real life. We’re proud to contribute to a global effort that connects innovation, inclusion, and skills development for a fair digital future. Multilingualism isn’t just a soft skill anymore. It’s a global advantage. In an increasingly interconnected world, the ability to navigate across languages is a gateway to opportunity. - English remains the global language of business, science, and technology. - Mandarin opens doors to the world’s second-largest economy. - Spanish connects you to over 500 million speakers across Latin America, the U.S., and Spain. - French plays a vital role in diplomacy and is spoken in 29 African countries. - Arabic is key to global trade, energy markets, and cultural influence. According to the World Economic Forum, learning additional languages boosts cognitive flexibility, improves problem-solving, and enhances both academic and workplace performance. At CRIATIVO, we see multilingualism as a core pillar of Education & Learning because preparing learners for the future means equipping them to connect, adapt, and thrive in a global world.

Every language we learn is like a new pair of glasses through which we see the world. 👓 The European Day of Languages is a reminder that behind words lies more than communication. It’s also a way of thinking. That’s why in international teams it often goes beyond just knowing English. Language skills: 🔹 make it easier to understand cultural nuances, 🔹 help avoid misunderstandings, 🔹 foster openness and empathy. Interestingly, research by the European Commission shows that more than half of Europeans claim to speak at least one foreign language. 📊 That’s a strong potential which, in the workplace, becomes a real advantage. Today, languages are not just an “extra skill.” They are the foundation of collaboration in a global world. 🌐 📌 The European Day of Languages is a good moment to reflect on which doors each new language has already opened for us and which are still waiting to be unlocked. As part of our employee benefits at #PMI, we have access to learning up to 24 languages! 📚 We can learn languages such as Spanish, German, Vietnamese, and Irish. Thanks to our language learning app and conversations with native speakers, we can hone our language skills—from business conversations to preparing presentations and documents. #EuropeanDayofLanguages #learning #inclusion #culture #workplace
