Did you know that in 1877, El Paso, TX became the hub for Buffalo Soldiers? The Buffalo Soldiers were all-black peacetime Army regiments created by an Act of Congress to protect settlers, build roads, infrastructure and guard U.S. mail in the West. El Paso Black History Tour Guide brochures are available at the Mcall Neighborhood Center (3231 Wyoming Ave, El Paso, TX 79903). #juneteenth #epcf #elpasohistory
