Emeline Fellus’ Post

Happy to share a few initial reflections from my participation in FAO's Hand in Hand Investment Forum taking place this week in Rome.

This week we're in Rome at the FAO Hand in Hand Initiative Investment Forum, a key opportunity to build partnerships to accelerate agrifood systems transformation. WBCSD's Emeline Fellus led discussions on the critical role of the private sector and explored ways to develop co-investment opportunities to drive food systems transformation. Momentum is growing, with governments, businesses, investors and civil society increasingly joining forces to scale action. Viable, scalable solutions exist. WBCSD will showcase concrete examples at #COP30, demonstrating how multi-stakeholder collaboration can unlock finance and boost investments in sustainable, resilient food systems.  Find out more about co-investment models: https://lnkd.in/erv3E-_b #FoodSystems #GlobalGoals #SustainableAgriculture #PublicPrivatePartnership #FoodSecurity United Nations Global Compact

Really inspiring opening speech, Emeline. A powerful reminder of how public–private collaboration can drive real change. Great energy here in #WFF2025 around building inclusive, sustainable agrifood systems!
