Yesterday at #UKBBW, I attended “The Black Tech Experience.” Mark Martin ⭐️ kicked things off, followed by engaging and insightful panels where AI was a recurring theme. The panel that resonated most was “Where Scale Meets Innovation: How Big Companies Are Empowering Game-Changing Ideas,” expertly moderated by Malika Velinor with Jenni Lewis, Bilal Hilton-Leigh, Adrian Cave and Daniel Meikle. The message was clear: know the problem before you pick the tools. In large organisations, innovate by shipping small, fast wins, a tactic I’ve seen unlock momentum when innovation feels slow and learning in the open. They also challenged those who haven’t started their AI journey to begin now. The highlight of the evening was Nnaemeka Obodoekwe (Lenkie), who shared how they keep innovation alive by staying obsessed with the problem, not the tech. We wrapped with networking before the lights went out (quite literally). A great evening, and I’m looking forward to more events like this. #UKBBW #BlackTech #Innovation #AI #Leadership
So well captured, Emmanuel Bami It was such a joy being part of The Black Tech Experience and sharing the stage with leaders who are shaping the future of innovation. tech is evolving fast, but the best outcomes start with how we think and work as humans, so happy it resonated.
Hi Emmanuel Bami, it really was another great event! The networking at the end was memorable, especially trying to find our way out in the dark like it was an escape room 😊
Well done Mark Martin ⭐️ - attended on Tuesday and it was really inspirational. I know your immense insights on tech was very inspiring.
Amazing - hoping to make it down on Saturday, are you heading back at another point this week?
