𝗥𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗺𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝗘𝗦𝗗 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 A new case from the AIG team in Hyderabad features a 56-year-old male with intermittent rectal bleeding and a 6 cm rectal polyp (Paris IIa+Is, JNET IIa). Histology confirmed a tubulovillous adenoma with low-grade dysplasia. The team began a conventional 𝗘𝗦𝗗 procedure. During dissection, they encountered fibrosis and bleeding, which limited visibility. To overcome this, an endoscopic robotic traction system was deployed. The device includes: • A remotely operated gripper at the scope tip • Independent open-close, wrist, and arm movement • 270° rotational capability around the scope • Dual-operator coordination with live tissue manipulation Traction allowed for stable exposure of the submucosal plane, improving safety and precision during resection.
