I have always believed that optimism and empathy are two of the most powerful leadership traits. Change, especially technological change, can bring anxiety. The role of leadership is to manage that anxiety with honesty and transparency. Tell your people the truth: this will be hard, but it will also open doors you didn’t know existed. In our industry, disruption is constant. Instead of ignoring the challenges, we should help others see what’s possible beyond them. 2wLove the points you make Eric, the "humanistic" dialog we need to engage in, the support we need to provide, to continually catch, ride, and conquer the next wave of disruption.
