Just today, I had the honor of discussing AI Transformation with executives from three multinational companies. They operate in different industries, yet share a common challenge: How to finance the AI Transformation? Here’s the typical chain of events I see: 1️⃣ 36% of boards ask the CEO: “What are we doing on AI?” 2️⃣ The CEO turns to the executive team: “What’s our plan?” 3️⃣ The executives ask the CFO, who explains: “The budget will remain stable at best.” Does this sound familiar in your organization? The magic flywheel in my mind is to incentivize business units, functions, and regions to contribute to the budget transformation efforts. By building this flywheel: 1-The AI team is motivated to demonstrate value, knowing that doing so unlocks additional investments from the business side. 2-The team shifts from being seen as a cost center to becoming a value center. I’ve implemented this approach in my previous roles and it works. What about you? Feel free to share your experiences or ideas in the comments! #AITransformation #DigitalTransformation #CFO #Leadership #AIinBusiness #Innovation #FutureOfWork #AIAdoption #BusinessStrategy #FinanceLeadership

It is time that AI is not thought of as a tech or tool, but as a change agent.
