European Parliament’s Post

Russia's actions are a threat to Europe’s security and infrastructure.   Russia is escalating its military provocation by violating EU airspaces with drones and fighter jets and through acts of hybrid warfare.   Members of European Parliament demand a unified EU response.   Denmark, Sweden, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Finland, Romania, Estonia: You are not alone.   Urgent and unified EU action is a must.   In a resolution passed on Thursday, MEPs called for:   - A coordinated EU-NATO defence response - Increased effectiveness and impact of sanctions on Russia - Investment in air and missile defence and anti-drone systems - Closing EU capability gaps through joint projects - Reviewing defence readiness and rules of engagement - Building a strong European pillar within NATO - Continued EU commitment to support Ukraine against Russian aggression   Find out about the security measure Parliament is calling for in the face of Russia’s violations: https://lnkd.in/e2ssECNA

Europe needs an independent security, defence and foreign policy, not to outsource it to Nato, the USA, Israrel or UK. Palantir under Nato is a troyan horse into Europe and will irreverible undermine Europe's digital integrity, sovereignty and governance. Espionage, sabotage and modern warfare requires data. To blame russia for all the sabotage and misinformation is naive. Europe is moving towards extremism and at the same time rearming. Just pray the EU survives the next 5-10 years. Russia will not be Europe's undoing, but nationalist jealousies and interests. Eurasia/Russia are huge markets for European goods, if we had the imagination to understand it, but we prefer nato. Instead we are sucked into the US narrative of inevitable war with China, Russia is a diversion - a pawn in the Trump/Putin/China spheres of interest, buying time. For the USA, to maintain its military supremacy with 800 military bases around the world and upgrading of all its nuclear triad, will cost $1 trillion over the next 30 years, which the allies are paying, as if US capital intensive AI and technology trickle is going to create jobs, transfer technology, knowhow, and regenerate the European economy. The only thing it will do is suck this continent dry

As an EU citizen, I am concerned by the increasingly militarised and fear-based language in recent EU communications. Security is important – but rhetoric without transparent evidence risks escalation, fuels division, and moves the EU away from its founding mission. The European Union was created as a peace project, and this is not just history – it is law. 📜 Article 3 of the Treaty on European Union states: “The Union’s aim is to promote peace…” https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX:12012M003 Therefore, EU policy should remain: ✅ Fact-based and transparent ✅ Proportionate and responsible ✅ Led by diplomacy and de-escalation ✅ Aligned with international law and our own Treaties Peace is not weakness. It is the legal and moral foundation of the EU. I call on the European Commission to prioritise diplomacy, mediation and dialogue over aggressive narratives – and to lead globally as a promoter of peace, not permanent confrontation. Let the EU be the voice of reason.

Ci volete portare in guerra a tutti costi! Per gli interessi di chi!?!..

I hope wisdom will prevail and that Europe only puts the forces into action in order to defend our territory and will not be seduced into retaliatory strikes or all out war.

A unified European Parliament-NATO stance is essential. Russia’s hybrid tactics challenge Europe’s security across air, cyber, and strategic domains. Deterrence demands integrated defense, coordinated intelligence, and rapid response capability. Strength and cohesion—not escalation—must prevail to safeguard European stability.

Europe stands united. Against aggression, for peace. #EU #Security #Defence #Ukraine
