I arrived in Brussels in September 2005 to start my Schuman traineeship. 20 years later I'm still here, more European than ever and forever thankful for the opportunity that started my career!
Great initiative. Opportunities like this help young Europeans see the Union from the inside — not just as an idea, but as a living system built by people.
So nice to see interpreter booths from the perspective of a listener
Seems like a perfect day to me !
Wake up at 7:30 it’s far too late. The alarm goes 5:30 the latest
These are my personal thoughts. I'm so glad we have the European Parliament. The values they place on the world economy, common scientific developments, world peace and security, the development of common global values, and human rights are very important. Therefore, as a human being, I extend my sincere gratitude to the European Parliament. However, as is the case everywhere, I'm dissatisfied with the existence of small groups exploiting this wonderful institution for dirty politics.
Grateful that the EU implements these kind of programs to attract young talent. Looking forward to learn there soon 🤞🏽

3dRobert Schuman’s legacy was not about career steps, denial or institutions polishing their image, it was about rebuilding a moral Europe, one capable of preventing war and protecting human dignity above all. If he saw what Europe tolerates today, the complcity in front of atrocities, the moral paralysis behind “neutrality”, he would not recognise his own legacy. A traineeship should not just teach how to manage policies, but how to defend conscience. That was Schuman’s true vision for Europe.
