Hi, my name is Alicia Ryan and I am happy to share a little bit about my time as a veteran. I enlisted in the Army National Guard in 2015 and I ended up graduating as a 92 Yankee Unit Supply Specialist where I ended up serving in multiple water purification units. And I then ended up going to 92 Whiskey Water Treatment Specialist school where I got to learn more about the water purification process and a lot about health and safety standards. To me, what it means to be a veteran means to make sacrifices. And that honestly can look different for anyone who's served, but we have something that connects all of us, which is our commitment to our country. I'm so grateful for my time in uniform. Being a veteran and having the experiences that I've had has shaped my life in the best of ways, and I truly don't think that I would be the woman I am today having not had those experiences.
