The Great Migration: Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace? As an IT professional, I’ve spent years working with diverse clients and have keenly observed a subtle, yet significant, shift in many organizations' core productivity environments. The traditional dominance of Microsoft 365 is being increasingly challenged by the cloud-native, collaboration-first philosophy of Google Workspace. This trend brings up a critical question for the future of IT support, especially as we move towards Productized Monthly Recurring Revenue (PMRR) models: Which environment is the superior choice for a modern Digital AI Agent? My pick, in line with building a "Digital AI Agent that works for any computer," is Google Workspace. Here’s why I believe Google Workspace offers a better foundation for AI-driven IT support: Real-Time Collaboration: Google is built for fluid, concurrent teamwork, making it the perfect ecosystem for a proactive AI to monitor, assist, and resolve issues as they happen. Cloud-Native Simplicity: Its browser-based core ensures a consistent, frictionless experience across all operating systems, simplifying my development goals for a universal AI agent. Future-Proofing for AI: The platform provides powerful, open tools like Google's Vertex AI for building complex, reliable multi-agent systems. The IT decision of M365 vs. Google Workspace is no longer just about features; it’s about choosing a cultural and architectural foundation. What are your thoughts? Which platform are you seeing more of on the front lines, and why? #ITSupport #DigitalTransformation #GoogleWorkspace #Microsoft365 #CloudComputing #AIinIT #PMRR #FutureofWork

We’ve been using Google Gemini for months but it’s not ready yet for team integrations. Yes, it works best inside Google Workspace. Summarising a Drive folder, drafting in Docs, or pulling details from Gmail all feel natural because it meets you where the work already happens. But where it falls short is collaboration. It frames shared chats as a feature, but in practice they are just read-only links. Teammates can’t edit, add, or build on the same thread. For us, Gemini is an 80% outline tool and a personal productivity partner in Google Workspace. It feels better suited to individuals or small teams who live in Docs, Sheets, and Drive. 👉 Full review: https://lnkd.in/dhQTFTVR #AI #Google #Gemini #GoogleWorkspace #Productivity

Google is initiating the rollout of its Ask Gemini AI assistant within Google Meet, a strategic move set to redefine meeting productivity for businesses. 🚀 This powerful AI tool, initially targeting 'select Google Workspace customers,' is designed to transform how teams interact and extract value from their virtual collaborations. Imagine an assistant that can answer participant questions in real-time using call captions, linked Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, even pulling information from public websites. For decision-makers, this isn't just a convenience; it's a significant leap in operational efficiency. Ask Gemini can summarize specific participant contributions, identify key decisions, and pinpoint action items, ensuring clarity and accountability. For those joining late, it provides instant catch-up summaries, contingent on the host activating the 'Take Notes for Me' feature. Crucially, responses are private to each participant, and meeting data is not stored post-call, addressing vital privacy concerns. The rollout commences 'over the coming weeks' for Google Workspace Enterprise Plus, Enterprise (Standard), Business Plus, and Business Standard customers, with further expansion planned for Q1 2026. While currently desktop-only and supporting English, its potential is immense. As THE ATLAS MEDIA, we underscore that while 'Gemini in Workspace can make mistakes,' the strategic advantage of leveraging such a tool for enhanced productivity and informed decision-making is undeniable. How will your organization integrate Ask Gemini to optimize your meeting culture and what new challenges or opportunities do you foresee with this level of AI assistance? Share your thoughts below! 👇 #TechStrategy #Innovation #BusinessIntelligence #AtlasMedia #GoogleWorkspace #AIinBusiness

Google’s Gemini Enterprise and the New AI Workspace The modern workplace just got an AI-native upgrade. With Gemini Enterprise, Google isn’t just automating tasks — it’s reimagining how distributed teams collaborate. From no-code agents that summarize client data, to AI that turns a pitch deck into a narrated video — Gemini makes AI your everyday teammate, no matter where you work. And because it integrates directly with Google Workspace, every employee — remote or not — gains access to multi-modal agents that can research, write, plan, and communicate intelligently. For global teams, this means: ✅ Seamless collaboration without context-switching ✅ Unified AI governance across locations ✅ Scalable automation for workflows from content creation to analytics The AI workplace is no longer a future vision. It’s here — and it works from anywhere. #WorkFromAnywhere #RemoteWork #GoogleGemini #FutureOfWork

I tried an AI agent that actually makes Google Workspace feel like it works for you not the other way around. Most teams I know use Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, or Drive for almost everything. But here’s the problem: Jumping between files, emails, and calendars kills momentum. There's always something lost in the shuffle. That’s where Google Opal steps in. Opal connects directly into your Google world. It reads your docs and emails, checks your meetings, and finds what you need without you having to search for it. This means: - Your AI agent can scan your Drive, summarize what matters, and remind you of key info before meetings - Emails and docs never get lost in the crowd - Everything stays in your workflow. No new tools, no switching tabs Especially for healthcare and life sciences teams, where privacy and speed matter, having an agent inside Google (not outside it) is a big deal. There are other cool tools out there, but if your day starts and ends in Google Workspace, Opal feels like a natural next step. Anyone tried Opal yet? Any surprises so far?

2wSeamless collaboration really shines when every step, from docs to meetings, is built for teamwork. To make scheduling as effortless as the rest, I tried a free scheduling tool called Cal ID (https://cal.id/) that helps teams sync up without the usual friction. Sharing in case it’s helpful for anyone juggling a lot of meetings.
