Yesterday, we hosted the Building Trust to Advance Public Health Summit — bringing together community partners, state leaders, and national voices to reflect on one question: how do we build trust in health care? At Fairview, we’ve learned that trust isn’t built by promises. It’s built by everyday actions that meet people where they are. In 2024, that looked like: 🍎 Fair Table distributing more than 100,000 pounds of food through our food-as-medicine program 🤝 6 full-time cultural brokers supporting patients and families with trusted guidance and resources in their own communities 💉 12,900+ free vaccines delivered across 443 neighborhood events — from flu to COVID-19 to mpox 💙 12,900+ Naloxone kits packed for overdose prevention and recovery support These partnerships and programs are proof that when health systems and communities work together, we build the kind of trust that saves lives — and prepares us to face future challenges side by side. We’re grateful to every partner who joined us at the Summit and to the many community leaders who make this work real every day.
