🚀 On 6 November, 25 highly innovative science-based start-ups will pitch in Berlin at the Falling Walls #ScienceSummit25, competing for the title of #ScienceBreakthrough of the Year in the #ScienceStartUps category. ⚙️ All Finalist Start-ups will pitch in front of our high-level #FallingWallsVenture Jury, composed of experts in science, business innovation, and entrepreneurship. The Jury will choose a Winner for each cluster as well as the overall Science Breakthrough of the Year. We are pleased to introduce the second half of our 13-member Venture Jury: 👉 Detlev Mennerich is leading the Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund (BIVF) as Global Head. He holds a PhD in Cell & Molecular Biology. 👉 Cyriac Roeding is a serial entrepreneur and investor. He co-founded Rewind and Earli where he serves as Chairman of the Board and CEO. 👉 Andrew Tauhert drives XPRIZE's impact across all of its programs, activating the ecosystem of organizations, thought leaders and entrepreneurs as Chief Impact Officer. 👉 Iris ten Have, PhD leverages scientific advancements as Co-Founder & Principal at Visionaries Tomorrow through science-driven investments that decarbonize today's most polluting industries. 👉 Andrea Tüttenberg won Science Brekathrough of the year in the Science Start-up category 2024 at Falling Walls Venture. She is CEO of ActiTrexx GmbH and Department Head of Skin and Lymph Node Sonography at the University Medical Centre of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. 👉 Inga vom Holtz is managing the pre-seed fund "UnternehmerTUM Funding for Innovators" as Director Investments at UnternehmerTUM. 👉 Andreas Zaby works as an innovation manager at SPRIND - Bundesagentur für Sprunginnovationen in Leipzig, Germany.
