The reality is: attorneys often spend more time hunting for information than acting on it. And in a billable-hour world, that’s not just frustrating—it’s expensive. That’s exactly the challenge we’re solving with FilevineAI. We’re helping legal professionals focus less on ‘search and scavenge’ and more on strategy, advocacy, and results. And more available hours means time to bring on more cases. Thank you Richard Tromans for the shout out! #Filevine | #LawTech | #AI | #Legal
After taking a look at what Filevine is now offering (chat with your case via genAI to surface facts + other info), it got me thinking: How many hours are spent just ‘finding things’…across the entire legal sector? It must be billions of dollars in lost time (if you’re billing with time)...and especially so when it comes to litigation. I.e. if you added up all the time - globally - that lawyers spent 'just finding things' - without adding any extra value other than the search aspect - what would that amount to in terms of time? And if you convert that time in $$$, then how much is that? How much of the $1 trillion legal market is just 'finding stuff'? Maybe we don't even want to know the answer, as the figure would be scary.... 😱 LINK: https://lnkd.in/eZ5_mQS4 > e.g. ‘What types of documents have we received from Dr. Jones?’ ‘What is the defendant’s insurance policy limit?’ ‘When did we serve defendant discovery, and what was their response?’ #legaltech #legalAI #litigation HT Ryan Anderson
